SETTING THE SLEE P TIMER 14 En The sleep tim er sets this unit to the standb y mode after the specified ti me elapses. Press SLEEP repea tedly to select th e desired duration. Each time yo u press th e key, the dura tion chang es as follows. The SLEE P indica tor ligh ts up in t he front panel display.

FM TUNING 18 En There are 2 tun ing method s: auto matic and manual. Aut omatic tu ning is ef fective when st ation sig nals are stro ng and there is no interference. If th e signal from th e station you want to se le ct is w eak , tu ne in to it man ua lly.
