E-11 English Playing CDs Getting Started RECEIVING RDS STATIONS PS The name of the RDS station being received is displayed. • If the unit cannot find a station with PS data, the unit stops searching and “NO PS” appears on the display. PTY The type of the program on the RDS station now being received is displayed.
E-12 RECEIVING RDS STATIONS You can locate a desired station by selecting a program type. The unit searches all preset stations into the type of programs currently being broadcast from the RDS stations.
E-13 English Playing CDs Getting Started RECEIVING RDS STATIONS The tuner has the following functions which make use of the RDS data service. These are originally in operation ON. However, you can turn these functions OFF, if so desired. Optional settings for RDS functions defs 1 Select the FM band by pressing TUNER .
