9 8 8. Changing the Battery A T o ensure the Water Timer runs safely , onl y a 9 V alkali- manganese battery (alkaline) type IEC 6LR61 m ust be used. . Make sure you e xchange the battery at the right time to prevent the W ater Timer failing due to a low battery when you are a way for longer periods of time .
