7 CR300 <PRB1291-B> CAUTIONS REGARDING HANDLING CD lens cleaner The compact disc recorder's pickup lens should not become dirty in normal use, but if for some reason it should malfunction due to soiling, consult your nearest FOSTEX authorized service center.

31 CR300 <PRB1291-A> FINALIZA TION (T OC RECORDING) • Finalization is the final process in recording a CD-R or CD-RW disc that is playable on standard CD players. (However, CD-RW discs, whether finalized or not, can only be played back on a CD-RW disc player.
32 CR300 <PRB1291-A> ERASING (CD-R W ONL Y) CAUTION: • The power must not be turned of f during erasing since this could destroy the disc. If a power outage occurs during erasing or you should inadvertently turn off the power during eras- ing, turn on the power when it comes back on again.
