5 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou ma y hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/e v aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelv es.
6 Mo v able she lves The walls of the refrigerator ha ve runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . F or better use of space, the front half-shelv es can lie ov er the rear ones. P ositioning the door shelves T o per mit storage of food pac kages of various sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height.
7 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance, neither hot f oods nor liquids which ma y e v aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
8 Defr osting Ref rigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev er y time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tra y located at the back of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it e vapor ates.
9 Remember to wash the defrost cleaner in hot soap y water at regular intervals . Dr y throughly bef ore replacing. Freezer When the frost has reached a thickness of up to 4mm it can be remov ed using the ice scraper provided with the appliance .
