EFFECT 10 T . W AH Y ou can produce a wah eect with the lter changing in response to the guitar level. Paramet er Value Explanation MODE Selects the wah mode. LPF This creates a wah e ect over a wide frequency range. BPF This creates a wah e ect in a narrow frequency range.

EFFECT 12 GUIT AR SIM Simulation of the characteristics of particular guitar components such as pickups and dierent guitar bodies allow s you to switch among a number of dierent guitar types all while using a single guitar . EFFECT 14 HARMONIST Harmonist is an eect where the amount of shifting is adjusted according to an analysis of the guitar input, allowing y ou to create harmony based on diatonic scales. * Because of the need to analyze the pitch, chords (two or more sounds played simultaneously) cannot be play ed.
EFFECT 15 A C. PROCESSOR This processor allow s you to change the sound produced b y the pickup on an acoustic electric guitar , creating a richer sound similar to that obtained with a microphone placed close to the guitar . Paramet er Value Explanation TYPE Selects the modeling type.
EFFECT 16 TREMOL O T remolo is an eect that creat es a cyclic change in volume. Paramet er Value Explanation W A VE SHAPE 0–100 Adjusts changes in volume level . A higher value will steepen wave ’ s shape. RA TE 0–100, BPM – Adjusts the frequency (speed) of the change.
EFFECT 17 SLICER This consecutively int errupts the sound to create the impression tha t a rhythm backing phrase is being played. Paramet er Value Explanation P A TTERN P1–P20 S elect the slice pattern that will be used to cut the sound. RA TE 0–100, BPM – Adjust the rate at which the sound will be cut.
EFFECT 18 2X2 CHORUS Fr equency band division is employed to produce two di erent choruses, one for low frequencies and one f or higher frequencies, f or both the left and right channels (for a total of f our). This allows you t o achieve a more natural chorus sound.
EFFECT 19 DELA Y This eect adds delayed sound to the dir ect sound, giving more body to the sound or creating special eects. Paramet er Value Explana tion DELA Y ON/OFF OFF , ON T urns this e ect on/o. TYPE This selects which type of delay.
EFFECT 20 MODULA TE Paramet er Value Explanation MOD RA TE 0–100 Adjusts the modulation rate of the delay sound. MOD DEPTH 0–100 Adjusts the modulation depth of the delay sound. CHORUS In this eect, a slightly detuned sound is added to the original sound to add depth and breadth.
EFFECT 21 PED AL FX PED AL BEND This lets you use the pedal to get a pitch bend e ect. * Because of the need to analyze the pitch, chords (two or more sounds played simultaneously) cannot be played. EFFECT 22 DIVIDER Within the eect chain, the point where the sig nal is split into channels “ A” and “B” is called the “ divider , ” and the point wher e the two signals are recombined is called the “mix er .
EFFECT 23 SEND/RETURN Y ou can connect an ex ternal eects proc essor between the SEND jack and RETURN jack, and use it as one of the GT-100’ s eects processors. The sound that is input to SEND/RETURN within the eect chain will be output to the SEND jack.
EFFECT 24 A C CEL FX This allows f or the use of six dierent types of Ac cel eects, which modify the sound over time when you depr ess the [AC CEL/CTL] pedal. Paramet er Value Explanation TYPE S-BEND Applies intense bending. LASER BEAM Produces a laser beam-like sound .
EFFECT 25 MASTER SETTING These settings are applied to the ov erall patch. MASTER SETTING Paramet er Value Explanation P A TCH LEVEL 0–200 Adjusts the volume of the pa tch. MASTER BPM 40–250 Adjusts the BPM value f or each patch. * BP M (beats per minute) indicates the number of quarter note beats that occur each minute.
26 SY STEM OUTPUT SELEC T Specify the device (amp) that’ s c onnected to the OUTPUT jacks. Paramet er Value Explanation SELECT JC-120 Choose this setting if the GT -100 is connected to the guitar input of a Roland JC-120 guitar amp. SMALL AMP Choose this setting if the GT -100 is connected to a small guitar amp.

SYSTEM 28 PREFERENCE Here you can specify whether settings f or the type of connected amp and preamp , control pedal, expr ession pedal, etc. will be independen t for each patch, or whether the same settings will be shared by all pat ches.
