The chimney should have no cracks, loose mortar , other signs of deterioration, or blockage. Repair any defects before using the chimney with your stove.

Follow the manufacturer ’s instructions exactly as you assemble the connector and attach it to the stove and chimney .

24 Intrepid II W oodb ur ning Stove 30003840 5. Lay an unbroken 3 mm (1/8”) bead of gasket cement in the newly-cleaned channel. Starting at one end, press the gasket into the channel. Ensure a good joint where the gasket meets before trimming any excess.
