11 BEFORE USING THE HOTPL A TES FOR THE FIRST TIME Turn the c ontrol k nob to a m edium /high settin g and a llow t he hotp late to heat, uncov ered by a sauc epan f or 3- 5 minutes . This hardens the pr otective coat ing on t he hotp lates an d m akes it m or e resistant to n orm al use.

15 USES OF THE FA N OVEN The oven is heat ed b y the elem ent aro und the fan s ituated be hind t he bac k panel. T he fan draws air fr om the oven, the elem ent heats the air wh ich is circu lated into the oven via the ven ts in the back panel.
