Instructions f or safe and pr oper use THIS MANUAL IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE APPLIANCE AND THEREFORE MUST BE KEPT IN IT S ENTIRETY AND IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE FOR THE WHOL E WORKING LIFE OF THE COOKING HOB. WE ADVISE READING THIS MANUAL AND ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS THEREIN BEFORE USI NG THE COOKING HOB.
Instructions for the installer 20 2. P ositioning of hob The following op eration requires building and/or carpentry work so must be carri ed out by a competent tradesman. Installation can be carried out on various materials such as ma sonry, metal, solid wood or plastic laminated wood as lon g as they are heat resistant (T 90°C).
Instructions for the installer 21 Before mounting the device to the unit, lay the provided adhe sive sponge onto the glass surf ace to separate it from the unit. After fixing the provided adhesive spon ge (B) to the glass, mount the device to the unit with the mounting brackets (A) provided with the device itself, as shown in the figure.

Instructions for the installer 23 4. Gas connection If the appliance is installed on an oven, the gas pi pe must not be passed along the back of the oven, as this may cause overheating.

Instructions for the installer 25 5. Adapting to different types of gas Before performing any cleaning or mainte nance work, detach the hob from the electrical socket. The hob has been inspect ed for G20 (2H) natural gas at a pressure of 20 mbar. For functioning with other t ypes of gas t he nozzles m ust be replaced and the primary air adjusted.
Instructions for the installer 26 5.2 Regulation for LPG Loosen screw C and push air regulato r D to the bottom. With a 7 mm wrench, remove nozzle E and replace it with the proper one (follow the instructions on the referen ce tables for the type of gas to be used).

Instructions for the user 30 7. Using the hob Check that the flame cap c rowns, the burner caps and grids are correctly assembled. Pins A of the flame cap crowns must be inserted in ho usings B of the burner rings, and pins C on the grids must be blocked in their respective housings on the hob.
Instructions for the user 31 8. Cleaning and maintenance Never use a steam jet to clean the appliance. Before any inter vention, disconnect the power supply of the d evice. 8.1 Cleaning the hob To keep the hob in good condition, you should clean it after every use (after it has cooled).
