Connect the oth er wire from th e toggle switch to the P ARK/NEUTRAL switch in the vehicle . This wire will test with gr ound with the g ear selector either in P ARK or NEUTRAL.

The switch will have thr ee wires on it, and on e wire will test groun d all the time .
