11 3.0 Connections EN 3.1 W ater connection The water input is connected at the bac k of the machine. The machine can be connected directly to the mains water supply , or it can work as a self- priming unit*). For direct w ater connection the inlet hose must be at least 6 m long, and the water temperature m ust not exceed 85°C .
12 5.0 Operation EN 5.1 Starting-up procedure 1. Check the oil le vel in the oil glass . The lev el should be maintained between the MIN. and MAX. mar ks. This applies also for the oil le vel in the oil-mist lubricator (pos. 5). 2. Run water through the inlet hose bef ore connec- ting, in order to remov e possible impurities in the hose.
13 7.0 Maintenance EN 7.1 Changing of oil The oil should be changed after each 1000 hours’ use. Remov e the cover of the oil glass . Unscrew the drain plug. Allow the oil to run out and clean the drain plug of impurities. Screw in the plug and refi ll the pump with fresh oil through the oil glass.
