7 Side handle Raise the side handle. The side handle can be secured in f our position (r ight, left, up and down). T o secure the side handle, tighten the clamp nut securely . Nev er secure the side handle in other than the abov e four positions . Side grip The side grip is conv enient for do wnward drilling or chipping operations .
8 OPERA TION Hammer drilling operation Set the change le ver to the symbol. P osition the bit at the desired location f or the hole, then pull the s witch tr igger . Do not force the tool. Light pressure giv es best results. K eep the tool in position and pre vent it from slip- ping aw ay from the hole.
9 Core bit (optional accessory) When using the center bit Screw the core bit on the adapter . Install the adapter with the core bit in the tool in the same manner as a drill bit. Install the center bit. Rest the core bit on the concrete and turn the tool on.
10 When not using the center bit Screw the core bit on the adapter . Install the adapter with the core bit in the tool in the same manner as a drill bit. Rotate the change le ver to the position. Rest the core bit on the concrete and turn the tool on.
11 Use a he x wrench to remove the rear co ver . Use a screwdriv er to remove the brush holder caps. T ake out the worn carbon br ushes, insert the new ones and secure the brush holder caps. Lubrication This tool requires no hourly or daily lubr ication because it has a grease-pac ked lubrication system.
