9 The different function of the hob When the hob is plugged in, all the indicator lights on the control panel light up f or a fe w moments and there will be a shor t acoustic signal. Subsequently , the control panel switches off and, at this point, it will be possib le to s witch the hob on.
10 Acoustic signal Some anomalies , such as: • an object (pot, utensil, etc.) placed on the control area f or more than 10 seconds, • a spillage on the control panel, • sustained pressure on one of the keys, etc. ma y cause the acoustic signal to go off .
