Grounding 3A0156A 7 Gr ounding The spra yer must be g rounded. Grounding reduces the risk of static and electric shoc k by pro viding an escape wire f or the electrical current due to static bu ild up or in the e v ent of a shor t circuit. The spra yer cord includes a gro unding wire with an appropriate gro unding contact.
