Remote Control Configuration Remote Programming The Responder LE and 1-way companion remote controls have opera- tions that can be configured to a user’ s personal preferences. The fol- lowing instruction will direct you through the available programming options for both remotes.

Remote Start Features Pit Stop Mode T o exit vehicle with engine running The system keeps the engine running during short trips into the house or convenience store. T o perfor m Pit Stop: 1. Valet Mode V alet mode can be entered and exited by per forming the Remote V alet command or manually using the vehicle key and the control button. When entered, the alarm functions are defeated while the conve- nience features still operate normally .

Batter y Information The Responder LE remote is powered by 2 batteries (PN CR-2016) and the 1-way companion remote by 1 batter y (PN CR-2032) that can be purchased at most retailers. When the batter y begins to weak- en, the operating range will be reduced.
