WAP3205 v2 User’s Guide 17 C HAPTER 3 Access Point Mode 3.1 Overview The WAP3205 v2 is set to access point mode by default. In this mode your WAP3205 v2 bridges a wired network (LAN) and wireless LAN (WLAN) in the same subnet. See the figure below for an example.

The WAP3205 v2 can connect to an ex isting network through another access point and also lets wireless clients connect to the network through it.

The W eb Configurator’s wizard setup helps you change the system login password and configure your device’ s ope r ating mode and wireless settings.
