Follow the steps below: 1. Remove the battery case cover by pressing on the ridged lines and slidina downward. PRESS and SLIDE DOWNWARD 2. Discard the old battery pack. Don't put the old battery pack in a trash compactor or a fire - it could burst.

The VTech VT1900 is capable of memory dialing. You can dial by pressing the memory location in which the number was stored. CHANGING STORED NUMBERS To change or replace a stored number, simply store a new number in the desired memory location following the instructions listed in, STORING SPEED DIAL NUMBERS. See page 21.
