3 IMPORT ANT : Although this unit is delivered in a partially charged state, you must fully charge it with the supplied 110/120 volt AC charger for a full 24 hours before using it for the first time. Y ou cannot overcharge the unit using the AC charger method.

5 1. INTRODUCTION Congratulations on selecting the VECTOR® JUMP-ST ARTER, AIR COMPRESSOR and 12 VOL T DC POWER SUPPL Y . This compact jump-star ter is unique in the amount of energy it can supply for its size.

7 2. USE AS A JUMP-ST ART SYSTEM W ARNINGS: 1. Before using this system to jump-start any vehicle or boat, read and understand all instructions, safety tips, warnings, cautions and first aid information provided in this manual and on the product labeling.
8 2.1 EASY , STEP-BY -STEP JUMP-STARTING INSTRUCTIONS This jump-starter is equipped with an automatic safety switch that only allows jump-start energy to flow when proper connections are made to batter y and frame. The automatic switch works in conjunction with an audible reverse polarity alarm and a large red LED.

10 3.2 12 VOL T DC CHARGING 1. Insert one end of the DC/DC charging adapter into a 12 volt DC accessor y receptacle on the vehicle or boat. 2. Insert the plug at the other end of this charging adapter into the 12 volt DC accessor y socket receptacle on the front of the unit.
11 5. EMERGENCY WORKLIGHT The worklight is controlled by an On/Off switch. Make sure the lamp is tur ned OFF when the unit is being recharged or stored. The lamp is efficient and will operate up to 114 hours on a full charge. The CCFL lamp’ s operating life is 100,000 hours.
12 6.2 TIRE INFLA TION OR PRODUCTS WITH A V AL VE STEM 1. Place connector (chuck) on valve stem. 2. Push connector toward valve stem and close thumb latch. 3. Make sure connector is pushed onto valve stem as far as possible before closing thumb latch.
13 7. REPLACEMENT P ARTS For replacement parts (bulbs, batteries, fuses, etc.), contact V ector Customer Ser vice: (954) 584-4446 or toll-free (866) 584-5504. 7.1 CCFL : CCFL lamp is designed for 100,000 hours of operation. It is not user replaceable.
