Introduction Thank you for purchasing the Ubiquiti Netw orks ™ airMAX ™ Bullet ™ Titanium. This Quick Start Guide is designed to guide you through the installation of the radio . This Quick Star t Guide also includes the warranty terms and is for use with the BulletM2 Titanium, model BM2-Ti, and the BulletM5Titanium, model BM5-Ti.
Hardware Overview N-Type Connector Bullet Titanium Radio Rubber Washer Cable Gland Body Compression Nut Ethernet Port Compression Seal.
Hardware Installation 1. Unscrew the Cable Gland Body and detach it from the Bullet Titanium Radio. 2. Unscrew the Compression Nut and remove the C ompression Seal from the Cable Gland Body.
3. Slide the Compression Nut over the Ethernet cable with the threaded end facing the RJ-45 connector . Slip the Compression Seal around the cable. 4. Feed the Ethernet cable thr ough the Cable Gland Body and seat the Compression Seal into the Cable Gland Body .
6. Securely screw the Cable Gland Body into the Bullet Titanium Radio so that the Rubber Washer seals the bottom of the radio. 7. Tightly screw on the Compression Nut. Ensure the Compression Seal is securely compressed and tightly sealed around the cable.
8. Connect the Bullet Titanium to the N-T ype connec tor of the antenna. Note: The Bullet Titanium should be mounted vertically to reduce stress on the N-T ype Connector.
Connecting Po wer over Ethernet 1. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable from the Bullet Titanium to the Ethernet port labeled POE on the PoE Adapter . 2. Connect an Ethernet cable from your LAN to the Ethernet port labeled LAN on the PoE Adapter.
Accessing the airOS Utility 1. Make sure that your host machine is connected to the LAN that is connected to the Bullet Titanium. 2. Configure the Ethernet adapter on your host syst em with a static IP address on the 192.168.1.x subnet. 3. Launch your web browser .
Installer Compliance Responsibility Devices must be professionally installed and it is the professional installer’ s responsibility to make sure the device is operated within local country regulatory requirements.
