5 The mode of T op Access 34 The mode of TopAccess The mode of T opAccess T opAccess has two access levels: the end user level and the administrator level. The adminis- trator can configure all settings availa ble and can perform maintenance operations.

Managing Mailboxes 47 Managing Mailboxes This equipment supports the ITU-T compatible ma ilboxes that allow stora ge and retrieval of doc- uments via mailboxes that are already set up in a mailbox hub. Using T opAccess, you can set up, edit, and delete mailboxes on this equipment.

Switching Languages 95 Switching Languages Y ou can switch the currently-used language to the desired one by uploading the language of T opAccess in the Scan Utilities CD-ROM to this equipment. 1 Insert the Scan Utilities CD-ROM into a clie nt PC. When inserting the Scan Utilities CD-ROM, the installer ma y automatically start.

Click [OK] in this message dialog box and then select the correct language.

Backing up Data 99 6 Select the file location and select “All Fi les” in the “Save as type” drop down box. It is recommended to save the backup file as it is named. If you chan ge the file name, the equipment cannot resto re the data from the backup files.

T his maintenance feature is used to restore data from backup files, to recover the original environ- ments.
Restoring Data from Ba ckup File 101 The Choose File dialog box appears. 4 Select a backup file and click [Open]. The file version and device name of se lected backu p file will be displayed. If the backup file name is not the name as shown below , the equi pment cannot restore the data from the backup files.

T o enable the notification functions , Emai l setting is required in the Email submenu page in the Setup menu.

Importing Address Book Data 105 Importing Address Book Dat a Y ou can import the address book data in a CSV format to T opAccess. The data need to be comma-deliminated CSV files complying with the address book data format of T opAccess.

Importing Address Book Data 107 4 Select the CSV file that cont ains address book dat a and click [Open]. 5 Click [Import]. “Backup or restoration process in prog ress.” appears and the import process beg ins. 6 Click [REFRESH] on the right side. The address book data are imported fr om the CSV file to this equipment.
