He lov es to walk around and explore almost as much as he enjo ys pla ying with y ou. Ottobot f eatures a full arra y of sensors that allow him to see the world and inter act with y ou.
TM TM Y N Edge detection sensor Ottobot lov es to play and has an arra y of buttons and sensors that allow him to interact and respond to y ou. Activating an y of these sensors will start Ottobot and he will respond and in vite you to pla y . Follo wing is a detailed list of Ottobot’s f eatures and where they are located.
TM TM Quick start Instruction s Ottobot is a very independent little robot and will often speak, in vite you to pla y games or walk around exploring all by himself . But he lov es to interact with you and these simple tips will help you quic kly learn how to play with him.
TM TM Y ellow Blue Green Red Instruction s Once you’v e installed Ottobot’s batteries he is ready to explore and play with y ou. It is recommended that y ou read through all of Ottobot’s instructions bef ore pla ying, but if you w ould like to get started, go to the Quick-start instructions.
TM TM Tilt and in v ert Ottobot uses these special sensors to orient himself . The tilt sensor allows Ottobot to know that y ou hav e picked him up when he is mov ed. Ottobot enjoys being held and brought to new places faster than his little legs can normally carry him.
TM TM Ottobot’s ages Ottobot is programmed with f our distinct ages, each with developing content. Because of this, Ottobot will always amaze y ou since his knowledge , jok es and phrases grow the more you pla y with him. TM TM Fun and Gam es Ottobot is filled to the br im with all sorts of interactive fun including games, jokes and riddles . These are accessed 3 dif ferent w ays. 1. Indepen dently Ottobot will often off er up games to play or a jok e to share . He is also able to remember what y our fa v orite game is and invite you to pla y .
TM TM 5) W hen Ottobot “steps” right or left he will only turn to that direction. Choose f orward or backward steps f or Ottobot to proceed in an actual direction after completing a turn. 6) During this game Ottobot will go exactly where you direct him to and will not try to a v oid obstacles or edges.
TM TM Jo k e s ( Quick launch code - Blue/ blue/ blue) Ottobot lov es jokes and is happy to share them with y ou or other Ottobots. He’ll tell you as many as y ou want or respond back and f orth having loads of laughs with an y other Ottobots in the room.
TM TM Clap controlled w alking ( Quick launch code - Left hand/ right hand/ y ellow) Ottobot will be under your complete control as he responds to the directions of your c lap commands. Clap once and he will walk f orward, twice f or backwards, and three or four times f or left or right.
