The call screening “Tran sfer Method” options can be pro - gramme d throug h your voice mailbox (see page 44 ).

PLACING CALLS ON HOL D 15 Eclipse Associate Display and Basic Digital Phone User Guide P LACING C ALLS O N H OLD Ther e are two way s to place a call on hold. The fir st proced ure places a call on indi- vidual h old, the second places it on system hold.
16 USING THE SPEAKER AND MICROPHONE Eclipse Associate Display and Basic Digital Phone User Gu ide U SING T HE S PEAKER A ND M ICROPHONE Muting The Microphone T o mute the microphone so that you can hear the other party but t hey cannot hear you (this does not p u t them on hold): — Press the MUTE key .
PLACING CONFERENCE CALLS 17 Eclipse Associate Display and Basic Digital Phone User Guide P LACING C ONFERENCE C ALLS Y ou can establish multi-party conference calls without operator assistance. Y ou can place any combin ation of up to three intercom or outside parties in the confer ence.

24 REDIALING A NUMBER Eclipse Associate Display and Basic Digital Phone User Gu ide R EDIALING A N UMBER If you reach a busy numbe r , are disconnect ed, or if there i s no answer , the number in your redial memory can be redialed easily . An outside line is automatically select ed and the telephon e number is redialed.
