This allows them to disengage from the leadscrew when using the power feed, avoiding an entanglement hazard.

Make sure that the spindle rotation is turned OFF and the spindle is at a complete stop. 2. Use the charts below to find the spindle speed range that includes the required spindle speed for your operation.

The Model SB1025/SB1026 requires re-positioning the V-belt on the pulleys to change spindle speed.

Refer to Figure 41 and the descriptions below to become familiar with these controls.

When the quill dog reaches the top or meets the downfeed stop, the downfeed clutch lever will release.

This reservoir also catches any coolant and debris that falls from the table and through the screens in the base.
