Getting S tarted 3-2 Begin to Use the Notebook For a new user of this notebook, we would like to suggest you follow the illustrations below to begin to use the notebook.
3-3 Power Management AC Power It is strongly recommended to connect the AC/DC adapter to the notebo ok and use the AC power while using this notebook for the firs t time. When the AC power is connected, recharging the ba ttery will start immediately .
Getting S tarted 3-4 Installing the Batt ery Pack 1. Align and place the battery to the batt ery tray with correct orientation. 2. Press down the battery pa ck to fa sten the battery pack in the ba ttery tray . 3. Press the lock/unlock button to the Lock po sition to make sure the battery p ack is securely fastened.
3-5 Releasing the Battery Pack 1. Before releasing the battery , make sure t he notebook is turned off, and th e AC power is disconnected. 2. Press the lock/unlock butto n to the unlocked position. 3. Locate the battery r elease button on the bo ttom side.
