In the recordi ng pause sta te, the camco rder waits for a certain p eriod of time in the standby-on mod e and then automa ticall y switche s to sta ndby-off mode.

31 Adjusting t he Viewf inder Chapter 2 Prepar ation T o use the camcorde r with y our left ey e By fitting a left eye adap t or to the DXF-801 , you can use the camcorder with your left eye to t he viewfinder. You cannot stow t he camcorder in the carrying case with the left-eye ad aptor attached.

46 Basic Procedure fo r Shooting Ch apt er 4 Re cord ing and Playba ck inserted in the correct position or may cause a malfunc tion. • When inserting a casse tte, hold the center of the cassette and insert it stra ight toward th e compartme nt. Holdin g the side of the cassette ma y cause it to be inserted incorrectly.

57 Recording Chapter 4 Recording and Pla yback You can see the iris sen sitivity trimmer when re moving the gum cap on t he front o f the le ns driving u nit. Use a min i- screwdriver to turn the trimmer. If you turn it clockwise, the sensitivi ty increases, and if you turn it counterclockwi se, the sensiti vity decreases.
