12 1 Preparing the bat tery pack 1 Insert the battery pack into the batte ry charger. 2 Connect the battery charger to the wall outlet (wall socket). The CHARGE lamp lights up, and charging starts. When the CHARGE lamp turns off, charging is finished (Normal charge).

20 Shooting in Smile S hutter mode When the camer a dete cts a smile , the sh utter is rel eased automa ticall y. 1 Select (Smile Shutter) mode from the mode dial. 2 Point the cam era at th e subject and p ress the sh utter button halfway down to focus on the subject.
