4/27/2006 10 Getting to Know Your Shoprider Powerchair The Joystick Controller (VSI) 1. On-Off Button : This button turns the joystick controller (hereinafter refe rred to as VSI) on and off. Do not use th is button to stop the power chair, except in an emergency.
4/27/2006 11 Locking/Unlocking the VSI Joystick LOCK MODE: The VSI controller can be locked to prevent unauthorized use. The locking method is achieved through a sequence of key presses and joysti ck movements, as detailed below. To lock Powerchair controller: While the controller is switc hed on, depress and hold the on/off button.
