5/11/2007 7 ADJUSTMEN TS Tiller Angle Ad j ust me nt (Fig 2) At the base o f the t ille r is a round knob. Turn the kno b counterclockwise to loosen t he tiller and select t he desired tiller angle. Turn the knob clockwise to securely lock th e tille r into place.

5/11/2007 10 DRIVE/FREEW HEE L OPERA TION (FI G 8) The drive/freewhee l lever ( yellow ball ha ndle) is located under the seat at the r ight rear o f unit. T his lever allows you to disengage the drive mechanism and push the scooter while in freewhe el mode.
5/11/2007 11 STARTING TO DRIVE YOUR S COOT ER First T ime Use Prior to using your Dash e r Portable scoo te r for t he first time, you must charge t he batteries fully (refer to Battery Char ging Procedures). Char ging may take up to 12 hours. Charging the batter ies co mplete ly pr io r to first time use will bene fit b attery efficien cy.
