Transfer F unction 32 T ransfer Function The T ransf er func tion is used to hav e the mac hine automat ically call y ou at a specifi ed number ev ery time it recei ves an incoming m essage . This lets y ou hear y our messages immediately after they c ome in, e ven w hen you a re at a remote lo cation.

This is con v enient when se nding to location s where the line is o ften busy , as it saves you from wai ting to pi ck up the o rigi nal docu ment an d frees the feeder f or other ope rations.
