1 PURPOSE OF THE KEY OPERATOR PROGRAMS The key operator programs are used by the key operator (administrator of the ma chine) to customize certain features of the machine to bett er meet the needs of users.
2 USING THE KEY OPERATOR PROGRAMS 1 Press the [CUSTOM SETTINGS] key. 2 Touch the [KEY OPERATOR PROGRAMS] key. 3 Use the numeric key s to enter the five-digit key operater code. Each time a digit is entered, the dash (-) that indicates the digit will change to an asterisk ( ).

9 GENERAL PROGRAMS ACCOUNT NUMBER CONTROL This program is u sed to store , delete, and change account numbers fo r AUDI TING MODE. A maximum of 100 accoun t numbers can be st ored. ● Storing a new account number To store a new account number, tou ch the [ENTER] key and then use the numeric key s to enter a 5-dig it account number.

11 GENERAL PROGRAMS OPERATION SETTINGS The "OPERATION SETTINGS" are related to basic operation of the machin e and consist of the following programs: ● AUTO CLEAR SETTING ● MESSAGE TIME .
12 GENERAL PROGRAMS STREAM FEEDING MODE (When a RSPF is installed) Use this program to enable stream feeding mode . When this mode is enabled and origin als are scanned from the RSPF, an original can b e added to the RSPF within 5 seco nds after the previous orig inal is fed, and be automatically scanned using the settings of the previous original.
13 GENERAL PROGRAMS OUTPUT TRAYS (When t he prin ter or fa x functi on is ena bled an d a JO B SEPARATOR TRAY KIT or FINISHER is installed) This program is used to select the respective output trays for the copy, printer, and fax functions. Example: When a FINISHER is installed.
14 GENERAL PROGRAMS KEY OPERATOR CODE CHANGE This program is used to ch ange the key operato r code that must be entered to configure the key operator programs. When the machine is first used, the key operator (adminstrato r of the machine) should change the key operator code that was set at the factory to the desired 5-digit code.
15 PROGRAMS FOR COPY MODE This chapter explains the key operator prog rams that are used for copy mode. COPY SETTINGS "COPY SETTINGS" consists of the foll owing programs: ● INITIAL STATUS .
16 PROGRAMS FOR PRINT MODE This chapter explains key op erator programs that ar e used for the print er function. These pr ograms can only be configured on models that have the printer function. PRINT SETTINGS DEFAULT SETTINGS These programs allow you to change certa in default settings for the printer function.
17 PROGRAMS FOR PRINT MODE INTERFACE SETTINGS The "INTERFACE SETTINGS" are used to monitor and set limits for the da ta that is sent to the machine’s parallel port, USB port, or network port .
18 PROGRAMS FOR PRINT MODE PORT SWITCHING METHOD (When the PRI NTER EXPANSIO N KIT is insta lled) This program is used to set the method for switching printer ports.
19 PROGRAMS FOR PRINT MODE ENABLE NetBEUI This program must be enabled to use the machine on a network that uses NetBEUI protocol. RESET THE NIC This program is used to restore all network settings to the factor y default settin gs.
20 PROGRAMS FOR NETWORK SCANNER MODE This chapter explains key op erator progr ams that are used for the ne twork scanner function. These programs can only be configured on models that have the network scanner fu nction.
