Using 3.3-volt power , the drive is expect ed to operate with a ma ximum of 70 m V peak-t o-peak squa re-wave injected nois e at up to 20 MHz.

The drive features the following power-ma nagement modes: • Active mode The drive is in Active mode during the r ead/write and seek operations.

B 2.8 Environment al specifications 2.8.1 Ambie nt temperat ure Ambient temperatur e is defined as the temperatur e of the environment im mediatel y surrounding the drive. Actual drive case tempera t ure should not exceed 70 °C (158°F) within the operating ambient conditio ns.

For all linear shock test, operating or nonoperating, th e in pu t sh ock level is m easur ed at the fra m e o f th e d rive at the sp ecif ic location as indicated in Figure 3 below .

B 2.8.6.1 Operating sweep sine vibration The following lists the maximum operat ing sweep sine vibration levels that the drive may experience whil e meeting the perfor mance standards s pecified. It consists of a forwar d and backward sweep from 10 Hz to 500 Hz to 10 Hz.
