5 BA TTERY INST ALLA TION The battery cover is located on the back of the unit. Slide the cover in the direction of the arrow to gain access to the battery compartment . Insert 2 AAA (UM-4) batteries into the compartment. Make sure that the batteries are positioned in accordance with the diagram indicated.
6 ANTENNA/EARPHONE USE VO LUME CONTROL TUNING THE RA DIO Inserting the earphone into the earphone jack . The cord connecting the earphone to the receiver acts as an antenna during FM reception and shou- ld be extended as much as possible to increase FM sensitivity .
