GB 7 T o take full advantage of your new mini-compact system, follow these installation instructions before connecting the unit. Install the system on a flat, stable surface. Never place this unit on carpeting. Never place this unit in an outdoor area.

GB 16 In order to playback video VIDEO-CD( ‘ S), make sure that your unit is connected to your TV set. This unit is designed for playback of video CD( ‘ S), version 1.1 and 2.0. Only with version 2.0, is it possible to call up the on screen menu function.
GB 17 T urn on the TV and set video mode. Press the Slow button on the remote controller when the play function is on. V oices do not come out when the Slow button is pressed. Slow playing is 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 the normal playing speed. T o return to normal operation.

GB 21 Y ou can record a radio programme of your choice. Y ou can only record on cassettes in Deck 2. Y ou do not need to adjust the volume, as it has no effect on the recording. Switch the system on by pressing On/Standby . Insert a blank cassette in Deck 2.
GB 22 The timer enables you to switch the system on or off at specific times. Example: Y ou wish to wake up to music every morning. If you no longer want the system to be switched on or off automatically , you must cancel the timer . Before setting the timer , check that the current time is correct.
GB 23 After having set the timer , it will start automatically as shown by the TIMER indication on the display . If you no longer wish to use the timer , you must cancel it. Y ou can stop the timer at any time (system on or in standby mode). T o... Press Timer On/Off.
