4 Section 3 Connection Procedures 3.1 Connecting User System Int erface Board to User System W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE BOARD is connect ed to or removed from any part. Before connect ing, make sure that pin 1 on both sides are correctly aligned.
5 3.1.2 Installing Ca ble Head CA UTION Check the location of pin 1 before inserting. Align pin 1 on the IC socket for a PLQP0176KB-A package on t he user system with pin 1 on t he user system interface board, and ins ert the user system interface board into the IC socket on the user syst em, as shown i n figure 2.
6 Fasten the user s ystem interf ace board to the IC socket for a PLQP0176KB-A package on the user system wit h the four screws (M2.0 x 10 mm) provided. Each screw should be tightened a little at a time, alternat ing between screw s on opposing corners .

17 Section 5 Verifying Operation 1. Turn on the emulator according to the pro cedures described in the S H-2A, SH-2 E200F Emulator User' s Manual (R0E0200F 1EMU00E or R0E572800EMU00E). 2. The emulator connected to this user syst em interface board supports three kinds of clock sources as t he MCU clock.
