9 FUELING & LUBRICA TION WAR N I N G : Remove fuel cap s lowly when refueling. FU EL ING EN GINE This engine is c ertified to operate on un- leaded gasoline. Bef ore operation, gas oline must be mixed with a good quality sy nthetic 2-c yc le air-cooled engine oil des igned to be mixed at a r atio of 40:1.
10 NOTE: If the engine s ounds as if it is try - ing to s tart before t he 5th pull, st op pulling and immediately proc eed to the next s tep. 6. Pus h the chok e knob in completely ( to the OFF position); pull the start er rope until the engine star ts.
11 S Allow the chain to cut for you. Ex ert only light downward pres sur e. If y ou forc e the cut, damage to t he bar , chain, or engine can r esult. S Releas e the throttle trigger as s oon as the cut is c ompleted, allowing the en- gine to idle.
