Befor e oper ation, gasoline must be m ixed with a good quali ty synthetic 2-cycle ai r-cooled engine oil designed to be mixed at a ratio of 40:1.

If you run the s aw at full throttle wi thout a cutting load, unneces- sary w ear can occur to t he chain, bar , and engine. It is recommende d that the engine not be operated for lon- ger than 30 seconds at full throttle.
