Setting up Your ATI HDTV Component Video Adapte r 5 Setting the DIP Switches Modes The six DIP switches on the AT I H D T V Component V id e o Adapter enable four , standard HDTV video modes: 480i, 480p, 720p, and 1080i. The default setting is 480i or 480p, depending upon yo ur component input device.
6 Setting up Your ATI HDTV Component Video Adapte r Use a small, flat-head screwdrive r to set the switches — the up position is ON, and the down positio n is OFF . Set the switches ON for all modes that your HDTV or compo nent input device supports.
