Getting Started with R Series Intelligent DAQ This document explains ho w to install and configure National Instruments PCI/PXI-781 x R, PCI/PXI-783 x R, PXI-784 x R, and PXI-785 x R (NI 78 xx R) dev ices. This document also contains a tutorial section that demonstrates ho w to begin taking a measuremen t using a LabVIEW FPGA exa mp l e VI .

Install Application Software and Driver Before installing the NI 78 xx R, you need to install the application software and de vice dri ver . V isit ni.com/info and enter rdsoftwareversion to determine which minimum v ersions of software you need for the device you are using.

Use these terminals to power external c ircuitry . All NI 78 xx R devices are equipped with a fuse to protect the supply from ov ercurrent conditions.
