7 3 Assembling Y our Tiller W ARNING Do not put y our fingers under the belt cov er . Maximum tire pressure under any circu mstances is 30 p.s.i. 8 Gear Selection Handle The gear se lect ion hand le is lo cated in the c enter of the han dle on th e tiller . It is use d to selec t NEUTRAL , REVERSE, or one of the FORWARD mode. Pull or push the han dle so that t he indi cator on top of s hif t cover points to t he operat ing mod e desired.
9 4 Kno w Y our Tiller W ARNING Clutch Contr ol The clu tch co ntrol is lo cated beneat h the hand le. Squeezing t he clutc h contro l against t he handl e engages the whee l and tine d rive mech anisms. NOT E : Never engage c lutc h lever while shif ting.
10 Setting The Depth Tilling d epth is c ontroll ed by the de pth stake whic h can be adjusted to fi ve different set tin gs. Adjust t he sid e shield s as you adjust t he depth s take.
