Ne ver make a djustments or repairs with the engine running . Mower bl ades a re shar p and can cut you. Wrap the blade(s) or wear glo ves, and use extra c autio n when servici ng them.

11 7. Connect th e lower heat d eflector to the bagg er mount weldment (item 4) with the hardware removed in st ep 2. S ee Figure 7. 8. Install the h eat deflectio n shield (item 8) on the bagger m ount weldment (item 4) with two 3/8- 16 x 1/2 t ap ping scre ws (item 7).
12 INSTALL BAG ON FRAME (FIGURE 9) 1. Thread the zoom bag frame s (item 16) through the sleeve on the open end o f the m esh xl b agger ba gs (item 15). 2. Install the vinyl h oses (ite m 17 ) on t he ends of the zoom bag frame s (item 16) and pu sh the end s together .
13 INST ALL BAGS Inst all Bags on Cat cher Frame 1. Install the me sh xl bag ger ba gs (i tem 15) on bagger cove r asse mbly (item 9) with the heat resista nt si de (smooth side) of th e bags facing th e unit.
14 5. Install the tw o coupli ng nuts to dec k with two 0.31-18 x .75 roun d head sq uare nec k bolts with Loctite patch as shown in Figur e 13. 6. Install the b elt gua rd suppl ied in th e blower m ount kit with t he clamp ing knob and fla t washer and two 0.
15 Removing Bagger Kit 1. Lift thumb latch and remov e hos e from blower assembl y and bag ger asse mbly (se e figure 14 on pag e 14 ) . 2. Remove be lt guard. 3. Remove V -belt fr om double pulley ( see figure 12 on pag e 14 ) . 4. Remove bl ower assem bly (see figure 1 1 on pag e 13 ) .
16 Before Each Use 1. Che ck bagge r parts for wear , de teriorat ion or damage. Rep lace ON L Y wi th original manuf acturer service parts before op erating. 2. Make su re co unterweig hts are ins talled. 3. Mak e sure al l hardware is tight. IMPORT ANT : Check tool-l ess har dware o ften.
