50 TPS1200 Operation 4 Operation 4.1 Instrument Setup Description This topic describes an instrument setup over a marked ground point using the laser plummet.

Extend the tripod legs to allow for a comfortable working posture. Position the tripod over the marked ground poin t, centring it as well as possible.

54 TPS1200 Operation • In addition to the autodetect behaviour , SmartAntenna can also be manually turned on/off using the ON/OFF button located on the underside. This action overrides all automatic settings but is only possible when SmartAntenna is fitted with an internal battery.
