Preparation Before Use 2-3 2 Selection of T ransmit T erm inal Identification (TTI) The transmit terminal identi fication (TTI) is the information about t he machine (transmit terminal) to be p rinted out on the fax on th e receiving system.
Preparation Before Use 2-4 Setting the TTI information Register the name (loca l F AX name), fax number , and local F AX ID printed in the transmit term inal identification (TTI) area. By registering th e TTI data, the receiver ca n easily find out where the F AX came from.

F AX Operation (Adva nced) 4-7 4 Interrupt Send During communication, when you scan originals by select ing direct tra nsmission, you can use interrupt send. Even when the communication is prolon ged due to br oadcast transmission or a next tr ansmission being scheduled, the ma chine will first send orig inals for which interrupt send has been set.
F AX Operation (Adva nced) 4-8 Chain Dial Chain dial is a function that allows you to dial by linking fax numbers of the receiving systems with a chain number created with a number com mon to several destinatio ns. By setting a toll free number and an area code to a chain number , you do not need to ente r such numbers for each transmission.
