7 English 1 If the cords are co vered with insulation, r emove a short section of insulation at the end of each cord by twisting and pulling it off. 2 Pr ess and hold the clamp of the AM LOOP terminals on the r ear of the unit. 3 Insert the AM loop antenna to the AM LOOP terminals as illustrated.
8 English Connecting Other Equipment Y ou can connect an external audio component used only as a playback de vice. • DO NOT connect any equipment while the power is on.
9 English Common Operations T urning On or Off the Power T o turn on the unit, press (or ST ANDBY/ON on the remote control) so that the ST ANDBY lamp goes of f. T o turn off the unit (standby), press (or ST ANDBY/ON on the remote control) again so that the ST ANDBY lamp lights up.
10 English T o enjoy heavy sound Y ou can enjoy hea vy sound by using Sound T urbo. This function boosts the low and high fr equency sound. • Activ ating Sound T urbo cancels the sound mode and/or subwoofer adjustment. Press SOUND TURBO. The SOUND TURBO indicator lights up on the display and the SOUND TURBO lamp also flashes.
11 English 3 Adjust the SEA pattern. 1) Tu r n ¢ / 4 to select the frequency range (B ASS, MID or TRE). 2) Press ¡ or 1 to adjust the lev el (–3 to +3) of the selected frequency range. 3) Repeat steps 1) and 2) to adjust the le vel of the other frequency ranges.
