If the wheelchair does NOT perform to specifications, turn the wheelchair Off imme diately and reenter set-up specifications.

Some devices are equi pped with three-prong (grounding) plugs for protection against po ssible shock hazards and fire.

SECTION 5—WHEELCHAIR OPERATION Part No. 1125035 25 At’m The joystick has proporti onal drive control, meaning that th e further it is pushed from the upright (neutral) position, the faster the wheelchair moves. The maximum speed, howev er , is limited by the setting of the speed-control knob.

DO NOT attempt to recharge the batteries and operate th e wheelchair at the same time.
SECTION 8—BATTERIES At’m 38 Part No. 112 5035 Basic concepts which will help you understand this automatic process are: The amount of el ectric al current drawn within a given ti me to charge a battery is called “charge rate”. If, due to usage, the charge stor ed in the battery is low , the charge rate is high.
