21 d) PM Diagnosis : Conr m wat er is o wing ov er e v aporator fr om PM and not WV . If PM de-energiz es once freeze begins , check f or 1 1 5V AC at CB K1 #4 (R) t o neutral (W). If 1 1 5V A C is not present, r eplace CB . If 1 1 5V AC is pr esent and PM is de-energized, check f or 1 1 5V A C at control s witch #5 (R) to neutral (W).
22 7) Pump-Out Cy cle – LEDs 1, 3, and 2 are on (1 0/20 second pump-out). Timing of the rst pump-out is dependent on CB . "E" CB rst pump-out is af t er the r st fr eeze c y cle. "G" CB rst pump-out is det er mined by S4 dip s witch 5 & 6.
23 9) Shutdown a) "E" Control Boar d: Thermostatic Bin Contr ol (TBC): When the appliance is running , hold ice in contact with the thermostatic bulb . TBC switch opens within 1 0 sec., shut ting down the appliance. TBC is f act or y set, and generall y no adjustment is requir ed.
24 2. "G" Control Boar d with Harvest P ump Timer Diagnosis 3) P ow er On : T ur n on the power suppl y , then mov e the control s witch to the "ICE" position. A 5-sec. delay occur s. CB red "PO WER OK" LED and gr een "BC CLOSED" LED turn on.

28 f) Refr ig er ant P r essur es, HM, and TXV Diagnosis : If ev aporator is still not cooling , check r efr igerant pr essures. See "VIII.B . P erformance Dat a." Ne xt, chec k HM operation. If r efrigeration pressur es are abov e HM setpoint and HMis bypassing , replace HM.
29 is complete . The pump-out frequency contr ol (S4 dip switch 5 & 6) is f actory set, and generall y no adjustment is r equir ed. Howe ver , the pump-out frequenc y control can be set to ha ve a pump-out occur e very cycle , or e very 2, 5, or 1 0 cycles .
30 C. Control Boar d Check Bef or e r eplacing CB that does not sho w a visib le def ect and that y ou suspect is bad, alw ay s conduct the follo wing chec k pr ocedur e. This procedur e will help you v erify your diagnosis. Alar m R eset: If CB is in alar m (beeping), press the "ALARM RESET" b ut ton on CB while CB is beeping.
31 D . Bin Contr ol Check 1 . Thermostatic Bin Contr ol Check TBC shuts down the icemak er within 1 0 sec. when ice contacts the ther mostatic b ulb , reg ardless of the cy cle at activation. NO TICE When the ambient t emperature is belo w 45°F (7°C), TBC opens and shuts do wn the appliance e v en if the ice storage bin is empty .
32 2. Mechanical Bin Control Chec k and Cleaning a) Mechanical Bin Contr ol Check This appliance uses a le v er -actuated pro ximit y s witch to contr ol the ice le vel in the stor age bin. No adjustment is requir ed. T o check TBC, f ollow the st eps below .
33 b) Mechanical Bin Contr ol Cleaning Scale ma y b uild up on MBC . Scale can cause the actuator paddle and magnet t o stick. In this case, MBC should be cleaned. W ARNING CHOKING HAZARD: Ensure all components , fast eners, and thumbscr ews ar e securel y in place af t er the icemak er is ser viced.
34 E. Float S witch Chec k and Cleaning FS is used to det er mine that there is suf ficient w ater in the wat er tank af ter the 1 -min. ll c y cle and af ter each harvest cy cle. FS is also used to det er mine that the appr opriate v olume of wat er has been conv er ted int o ice befor e switching out of the fr eez e cy cle.
35 2. Float Switc h Cleaning Depending on local wat er conditions, scale ma y b uild up on FS . Scale on the switch can cause the oat t o stic k. In this case, FS should be cleaned. 1) T ur n of f the power suppl y . 2) Remo ve the fr ont panel, then mo v e the contr ol s witch to the "OFF" position.

53 5) Disconnect the gauge manif old hose from the v acuum pump and at tach it t o a refrigerant service cylinder . Remember t o loosen the connection and purge the air fr om the hose. F or the r equir ed r efrigerant charge , see the rating label inside the icemaker .

56 VI. Pr eparing the Appliance for P eriods of Non-Use NO TICE • When st oring the appliance f or an e xt ended time or in sub-fr eezing t emperatur es, f ollo w the instructions below t o pr e v ent damage.
