6 Before you begin • W e recommend using alkalin e batteries for t he remot e weather sensors a nd the main unit when tem peratures are ab ove 32°F ( 0°C). W e recomm end using lithium batteries for the remote weather sensors when tem peratures are below 32°F (0°C).

There are three time alarms available on the main unit: Weekday alarm ( W ), Single alarm ( S ) and Ice Warning Alarm ( Pre-Al ).
