Installation and Connections 16 Please follow the instructions below to in stall the hard disk. 1. Loosen the screws and remove the the upper cover. 2. Line up the HDD to the four holes of the HDD bracket. 3. Use four screws to fix HDD. 4. Unfasten the HDD power cable.

We recommend you use UPS to guarantee steady operation, DVR life span, and other peripheral equipments’ op eration such as cameras. Installation and Connections 18 Connecting Video Output Main video output includes BNC (CVBS PAL/NTSC, 1.0VP-P, 75 Ω ), VGA and HDMI. SPOT (matrix) output and lo op output are also support ed by BNC connection. The system supports the three ki nd s of outputs at the same time.
Honeywell 19 If the sound box and the pick-up cannot be separated spatially, it is easy to cause a squeakin g noise. In this case you can adopt the followi ng measures: Use better sound pick-up with better directing property . Reduce the volume of the sound box.

There are a t otal of six icons: se arch, information, setting, backup, advanced and shut down. You can move the cursor to highlight the icon, an d then double-click the mouse to enter the sub-menu.

Honeywell 27 Manual Record Live Viewing After you have logged in, the system is in live viewing mode. You can see the system date, time and channel name. If you want to chang e the system date and time, you can refer to general settings ( Main Menu Setting General ).

Automatic: Channel record ing follows recording schedule setting ( Main Menu Setting Schedule ) Closed: the channel stops recording.

Honeywell 37 If current channel is recording now, the setup will get activated immediately, and the current record will be terminated and a new file is created as redundancy recording is st arted. After setup is completed, please cli ck save button, system goes back to the previous menu .

Honeywell 41 Video Loss In Figure 4-13 , select “Video Loss” from the type list. You can see the interface is shown in Figure 4-18 . This function allows you to be informed whe n video loss has oc curred. You can enable the alarm output ch annel and enable the show message function.
Overview of Navigation and Controls 42 Note In “Detect” interface, the copy/paste function is only valid for the same type, which means you cannot copy a cha nnel setup in video loss mode to camera maski ng mode.

You can view the backup device name a nd its total space and free space. The device includes a USB burner, flash disk, SD card and portable HDD.

Honeywell 65 DHCP: It is to activate auto sear ch IP. When you enable the DHCP function, you cannot modify the IP/Subnet mask /Gateway. These values are from the DHCP function. If you have not enabled the DHCP function, IP/Subnet mask/Gateway will display as zero.

The list supports a max of 64 IP addresses. Note that after you enable this functi on, only the IP listed below can access current DVR.
