There are some precautions that should be taken to derive maximum satisfaction from it. Improper installation can result in unsatisfactory operation or dangerous conditions.

7 VII. INST ALLA TION A. GENERAL Install this unit in accordance with The American National Standard Z223.1-latest edition booklet entitled “National Fuel Gas Code,” and the requirements or codes of the local utility or other authority having jurisdiction.

10 F . ROOFTOP INST ALLA TION 1. Before locating the unit on the roof, make sure that the roof structure is adequate to support the weight involved. (See Electrical & Physical Tables in this manual.) THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND THE INSTALLER’S RESPONSIBILITY.
11 Place the unit as close to the conditioned space as possible allowing clearances as indi- cated. Run ducts as directly as possible to supply and return outlets. Use of non-flam- mable weatherproof flexible connectors on both supply and return connections at unit to reduce noise transmission is recommended.

23 LUBRICA TION IMPORTANT: DO NOT attempt to lubricate the bearings on the blower motor or the induced draft blower motor. Addition of lubricants can reduce the motor life and void the warranty. The blower motor and induced draft blower motor are prelubricated by the manufacturer and do not require further attention.
24 4. If the coil is coated with oil or grease, clean it with a mild detergent-and-water solu- tion. Rinse the coil thoroughly with water. IMPORTANT: Do not use excessive water pressure. Excessive water pressure can bend the fins and tubing of the coil and lead to inadequate unit performance.
