Please note the following information when setting up the system: The hi-fi system is designed for the playback of audio signals. Any other use is expressly pr ohibited. If you w ant to set up t he hi-fi system on wall shelv es or in cupboards, please ensure that it is adequately ventilated.

Setting the time A demo progr am star ts in the display when you connect the hi-fi system to the mains for the first time. To quit the demo pr ogram, switch the hi-fi on from standby mode b y pressing » ON/OFF «. The time and day of the week then flash in the display , indicating that t hey need to be set.

The hi-fi system is suitable for music CDs bearing the logo shown here (CD-D A), and for CD-Rs and CD-RWs with audio data or MP3/WMA formats. In MP3/WMA mode, the terms “album” and “file” are very impor tant. “ Album” corresponds to a folder on a PC, “file” to a file on a PC or a CD-D A track.
