T o turn on the warmer sur face element: T ouch the ON/OFF pad, then touch the WARMER pad. The sur face element will turn on to warmer power setting W1 (low). Use the (+) / (-) pad to choose additional settings of W2(medium) and W3 (high). T o turn off the warmer power settings, touch the ON/OFF pad.

This feature is only used on the dual sur face element when the pan detection feature is enabled. When a small pan is placed on the sur face element, the small sur face element will activate. When a pan larger than 6.0 inches is placed on the sur face element, the large sur face element will automatically activate.

11 Note: Flat-bottomed canners are required for glass cooktops. When canning with water -bath or pressure canner , larger-diameter pots may be used. This is because boiling water temperatures (even under pressure) are not harmful to the cooktop sur faces surrounding the sur face elements.

Allow the cooktop to cool. Use a single-edge razor blade scraper at approximately a 45° angle against the glass sur face and scrape the soil. It will be necessary to apply pressure to the razor scraper in order to remove the residue.
